Bäcker uses 5-axis CNC processing centres that enable us to keep low the amount of time needed for rigging and set-up. Due to the potential of our equipment we are able to avoid holding and to shorten the throughput time. This manifests itself in adequately low costs for the customers. Efficient rapid traverses, high acceleration times, quick exchange of tools minimise the non-productive times and raises productivity. The machinery allows for completing the entire production of a finished part within a single set up. It copes with drilling on a slant and slanting surfaces, with complex shaped surfaces and cavities without the necessity to reclamp.
